Thank you so much for trying to edit theme with yourself and we are so happy that you are editing theme with Child Theme approach. We are really happy to got the client as you.
If you are trying to edit the file of parent with child theme approach, please follow the guidelines to edit.
1. Create a child theme. (You already have it)
2. Make the same directory path as parent theme on child theme.
Example: If you want to edit the file which is inside theacmethemes/hook/social-links.phpmake the same directory path on child theme.acmethemes/hook/social-links.phpNo need to add the the files inside the directory, just put the file which you are going to edit.
3. If you need to edit some other files, please follow the same process on 2.If you need any help, please write the question here.

There is no any options for making the other page and post like home page. You can’t add the widgets on the other pages.
If you need the widgets on the other pages you have to write custom code for it. We haven’t created shortcode for the widgets. If you are familiar with WordPress codes, please create a shortcode and use it.

If you used Acme Fix Images plugin, you have to add the images size bigger than the image size defined on media. Please try once by adding the image size greater. Example 1200*900

Please download the child theme of SuperMagPro and install and activate it. If you need to customize single page, just put thesingle.phpon the root directory and customize it. If you need to edit others file, just make the same folder structure as parent theme and only add the files you need to edit.

Means you added featured image on all post?

Thank you so much for using our theme AcmeBlog.
1. You have to add the featured image on every posts, and the default image will replace. If post doesn’t have featured image default image will display. If you want to use your own default image, this feature is available on premium version of this theme AcmeBlogPro.2. This two column options is available only on pro theme. Please check our pro theme.
3. To remove the lines in menu navigation, you have to edit some line of css code.
If you buy our premium product, we will provide you the child theme with some edited css, which helps to remove the line around menu. And we help to setup the theme too.

You have to write a line of code on the file to enable it.
Please paste the below code on ‘template-parts/content.php’ below the line 43. i.e. below the codeacmeblog_blog_content_layout();This code help you to make it read more and gives the way to single page.

If you completed all the above mentioned steps and if the problem is not solved, try once by adding the featured image with bigger size.(Example 1500*1200). It may be due to the problem on small featured image size.
