Thank you so much for using our theme SuperMag. If you complete all the steps as our documentation and still the image is not cropped then it may be due to the small size of image there. If the image size is less than the size defined in the Settings> Media then the image will not cropped. So please try by adding the image size greater than the size defined media. Example, add the image 1200 * 900 Px.
Featured image will only crop, no images added by the content is cropped. Please try it once and let us know is the same problem remains.

Thank you so much for using our theme AcmeBlog.
There is no any options available on AcmeBlog for show/hide the title, author etc on the featured section slider. If you are familiar with WordPress code, you can customize the theme with Child theme approach. If you are not familiar with code, you can use the premium version of this theme AcmeBlogPro. In this theme you can hide/show author, title, category etc on the featured slider. And there are lots of additional features available to customize your site. Please find the details of our theme AcmeBlogPro here. http://www.acmethemes.com/themes/acmeblogpro/
If you have further query, please feel free to ask.

Acme SupportsacmesupportsParticipantHello,
Similar type of question is already discussed here. Please follow the linkThanks
acmesupportsParticipantHello mcarp555,
Thank you so much for using our theme SuperMagPro. SuperMagPro is a magazine theme and we imagined that each post contains feature image. So, when a post doesn’t have any featured image a default image will appear there. So we recommend you to use the featured image for every post or set the default image from customizer. It will be best for you.
Go to Appearance > Customizer > Extra Options > Custom No Images. Please try once and if not solved, let us know.
Best Regards,
Acme SupportsacmesupportsParticipantHello adikristya,

Acme SupportsacmesupportsParticipantHello ChicagoMusicGuide,
Thank you so much for using our theme SuperMagPro. If you want to customize parent theme, you have to do it on child theme. Please do all the changes on child theme. But if you only want to add the CSS, you can add the css from customizer. From Customize, go to Layout/Design Option then Custom CSS.
https://doc.acmethemes.com/supermagpro/#WheretowritetheCustomCSS?
Add the custom css here. Please try once and if not worked, let us know.Best Regards,
