Having a look through out SuperMag if it fits my news site.
A few things points out as “limited” or troublesome” but it might be those issues are addressed with Pro.

One vital feature is the use of Co-Author Plus as we relay breaking news from agencies and more and need authors according to source..
Our mediocre tech-guy had a look through the theme core but backed out before to much harm was done.

Is Incorporation of Co-Author Plus possible, even if only in Pro? (https://vip.wordpress.com/documentation/incorporate-co-authors-plus-template-tags-into-your-theme/?

The other main issue atm is posted timestamp of “Article published” and “Article updated” inside posts. Possible/Pro?
